Transit authorities in Chicago are reporting problems with the transmission of a deadly virus that can infect nearly anyone with symptoms of the coronavirus.
The CTA announced Monday that the CTA’s system will not be operating in conjunction with the Copley Square station on the Cermak Expressway between Roosevelt Boulevard and Sheridan Boulevard until Monday morning.
Citizens can report any transmission problem to the CCTA’s toll-free hotline at 800-321-7000.
The agency is also warning that those who are traveling with passengers or cargo should be extra cautious because there are no signs of the virus in CTA vehicles.
The Chicago Transit Authority is the city’s public transportation system and operates nearly 3,000 buses, trains, subways and commuter rails.
